Unlock the Past is bringing Scottish genelaogist Chris Paton to Australia.
Chris Paton is a professional genealogist and regular contributor to
several family history publications, including Your Family History,
Practical Family History, Family History Monthly and Discover my Past
Scotland. Formerly a BBC television producer, he holds a Postgraduate
Diploma in Genealogical Studies. His website is at www.ScotlandsGreatestStory.co.uk
He also teaches online Scottish courses through Pharos Teaching and Tutoring Ltd.
In Melbourne Chris be at the Veneto Club, 191 Bulleen Rd, Bulleen, Wed 20 October and will present two talks:
- Introduction to Scottish research. Introducing the major resources for
Scottish research, including the recently updated ScotlandsPeople
- More records for Scottish research - including land and church records.
