Yarra Plenty's family and local history librarian, Liz Pidgeon continues her Scholarship project trip to research "family history and local history services in the UK and USA".
The Margery C Ramsay and Barrett Reid scholarships are awarded by the Library Board of Victoria (State Library of Victoria) to a Victorian public library staff member to support their leadership development. The scholarships are awarded in alternate years. In 2012, the Margery C Ramsay Scholarship was awarded.
Liz is blogging at Infolass and is now in Salt Lake City, Utah for the Rootstech conference which focuses on Genealogy and technology. Check the site for streaming of some of the presentations. The conference commences March 21.
