Extended Times Digital Archives

The existing Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985, has offered researchers and students alike 200 years of in-depth, award-winning and objective coverage of world events since the creation of The Times in 1785. The new extended
version of the archive — the Times Digital Archive, 1785-2006 — adds an additional 20 years, some 795,000 new pages, of invaluable content covering the tumultuous period at the end of the 20th century and the beginning
of the 21st century. All in a new, intuitive user interface.

Hailed as the world’s “newspaper of record” since 1785, “The Times” (London) is regarded as the most authoritative medium for political, legal, business and social news. Browse by issue date, story headline, subject and other key search words.

Access Times Digital Archives along with other historical newspapers via the e-resources link. TDA can be accessed at home via the library website using your library card.
