Italian migrants to Australia in the 1950s
I have permission to post the following information from an Italian researcher researching Italian migrants to Australia in the 1950s.
"In collaboration with Professor Bruna Bianchi (Università Ca’ Foscari), I am currently investigating the social, economic and relational conditions of Italian migrants to Australia in the 1950s. We are interested in interviewing people who were hosted in the Bonegilla migrant reception centre. I am currently seeking direct and indirect witnesses who might be willing to talk to me about their migration experience and about their stay in Bonegilla."

A useful site with personal ancecdotes of expereiences at Bonegilla is the NSW Migration Centre and Displaced Persons Migration
