Hit a brick wall around 1892? Try this list of Melbourne's Unemployed in 1892. Some 13,000 names are listed : unemployed men who registered with the Government Labour Bureau in Melbourne from June to August 1892. This project is part of a student's PhD research into Melbourne in the 1890's. There is quite a bit of information on each person including birth
date, death, wives and children.
