Participants are well underway with the Family History Fest which was launched as part of National Family History Week in August. A monthly series of talks and demonstrations for beginners in family history research, the sessions have already covered "starting your family history", "Australian Birth, death and marriage records" and "Records at your library" . Upcoming sessions include "Family History on the Internet", "Beyond the library: where else to go", "Introduction to the Ancestry database" and a hands on session on "Heritage Photo Pages".
